Lucy Starlight discuss modeling, photo shoots, connections she wants to establish, upcoming projects, magazines, and more!

Beyond The Lens – Internet Hollywood has always been the perfect place to find new faces that are building their name from the ground up. For years, I have dedicated myself to finding out their stories to share them all on one platform that could possibly help them achieve greater success in the future as we grow. One beautiful independent model from the state of Massachusetts that I caught up with was Lucy Starlight.

Starlight has been on my list for a while and I never really interviewed her. As soon as I had the time I contacted the model and invited her to do an interview and she accepted. After reading this interview you’ll see why I’m interested in writing a lot about her in the future. Enjoy the interview!

Internet Hollywood News: What’s up Lucy!? Welcome to the Internet Hollywood universe. I’m pleased to do your very first interview with us. I have written some questions and I’m looking forward to seeing your answers. Before we start I have to begin with something I normally ask everyone I Interview; could you give us a background story on who you are, where you from and what got you into modeling?

Lucy: Hi! I’m very excited to be a part of this! My name is Kait Estrella. I’m 27 years old. I’m adopted from birth, from Tucson, Arizona! I grew up and still do reside in Westport, Massachusetts. It’s a funny story how I got into modeling. One of my ex-boyfriends cheated on me, six years ago, with a model. I decided to do a photoshoot for revenge. I ended up falling in love with modeling, and here I am!

Internet Hollywood: As you felt more comfortable in modeling did you discover your favorite kind of photo shoots to do or is it pretty open?

Lucy: I definitely love a certain genre, but I’m open to a lot of things. I’m extremely versatile when it comes to modeling. I have my soft spots for horror-related and dark shoots, but I know some photographers want different things and genres, so I’m open to various ideas.

Internet Hollywood: Are things like fashion shows and magazines something you want to get more involved in in the future?

Lucy: I’ve always wanted to be on the cover of a magazine. It just so happens that I got that chance about a year ago, when a wonderful model and person, was the owner and creator of a (now closed) magazine called Rebelle. It was perfect for me, and I absolutely loved and thanked her for the opportunity.

Internet Hollywood: What kind of connections are you hoping to establish while networking that you personally feel will help build your career?

Lucy: I most definitely want this for a career. I’ve been modeling for six years now, and even though I’ve had no luck so far, I’ve been in one calendar and on the cover of one magazine. I would love to make more modeling friends and work with different photographers, to help build my portfolio and experience.

Internet Hollywood: Are you currently working on anything at the moment?

Lucy: I just recently shot with a great photographer, Bernie, and he’s submitting a few photos for a few magazines. I really hope to get in some and go from there!

Internet Hollywood: Where did the origin of the name Lucy Starlight come from?

Lucy: My middle name is Lucille, and my mom always calls me Kaity Lucy, so I loved how it was so comparable to my name. Also, my last name means “star” in a languages. So I put the two together, bam, I had a nickname that I was most pleased with.

Internet Hollywood: Last question; What are some of the main things you hope to get accomplished this year and what happens if your not able to?

Lucy: I’m a very hopeful person, but try not to get my hopes up. If it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t work out. I’ll be sad, but I’ll get over it and keep working hard to get in another magazine, and hopefully become discovered. Thank you for this interview and opportunity!

Internet Hollywood: Thank you so much for the interview, Lucy!
