Internet Hollywood: What’s good Jetta? I hope you are having a fantastic new year so far. It’s always great to discuss things with faces I haven’t interviewed before. Learning from others has been a very educational experience for me and I look forward to learning from you as well. If you don’t mind me asking, could you give our readers the inside scoop on who you are and what you do?

_

Jetta: I am Jetta Cooper, a plus size photo/fashion/print/runway model with a passion for Ripping the Runway. I model mainly urban and informal wear but also enjoy modeling accessories and formam dress wear. I work full time a Case manager whom works with individuals suffering from Mental health disabilities.

Internet Hollywood: Dealing with people that suffers from mental health issues takes a lot of patience and many people struggle with that in today’s world. What was the biggest challenge trying to understand the mind state of others suffering from disorders that may be difficult to handle and what influenced you to want to get involved with that field too begin with?

_

Jetta: I was born with a passion to help others. I decided to come into this field because I wanted to be able to help individuals that struggle with daily living live a full and meaningful life. Throughout my 13yrs in the Human Services field, I have learned a great deal of patience and I can honestly say that I view and appreciate life in a whole new light. My biggest challenge has to be trying to understand what my individuals are thinking and how can I get them to express their way of thinking to the best of their ability.

_

Internet Hollywood: When did modeling become something that you wanted to try out and what kinds of photo shoots do you feel the most comfortable doing with photographers?

_

Jetta: I began modeling 2yrs ago at a time in my life where my self esteem was at an all time low. My friend’s mother was producing a charity event for Cancer, and I thought it would be cool to get glammed up, feel beautiful and take tons of pictures all while supporting a great cause. I have only done designer wear shoots and most recently a mermaid shoot. All of the shoots have been great and I’ve enjoyed working with everyone involved. I am looking forward to doing more out of the box themes and sprucing up my portfolio during the spring and summer seasons.

_

Internet Hollywood: What has been your main focus since this year started and what are some of the goals you put in place this year to get your further to accomplishing your dreams?

_

Jetta: My main focus is becoming a better Jettaa all around. Work on myself and my image. Work to better my craft in modeling. I want to build stronger family bonds and working towards being the best that I was born to be.

_

Internet Hollywood: Last question, what are some of the projects that you are working on now and is there any other talent that you have that you would like to turn into a career as well?

_

Jetta: Currently I am preparing for the annual Warriors Against Cancer Introducing the Rainbows Charity of Fashion. I will be working alongside founder and producer Nyomie Greco. Also I’m preparing for the NYC Shootathon happening in April. Unfortunately, I have no other talents that I would like to turn into a career.

_

Internet Hollywood: Thank you for the interview, Jetta!
