Christmas (t.o.t.w) – Connecticut model Nikki Doll Face is helping us get more into the holiday spirit after wrapping up a small interview we did about Christmas this afternoon. Nikki opened up about her favorite Christmas movies, moments and holiday plans and shared that she’s hoping to do some Christmas shoots for the year.
I haven’t known Nikki for a while but interviewing her was a fun thought that came to mind when I checked out her work for the first time. What time would be better than now? Enjoy the interview!
~*~*Christmas /w Nikki Doll Face*~*~
Internet Hollywood: What were your favorite Christmas movies to watch as a child growing up?
Doll Face: My favorite Christmas movies to watch as a child were Home Alone, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, Charlie Brown, A Christmas Carol, and The Grinch.
Internet Hollywood: What are your favorite Christmas movies now that you are a young adult now?
Doll Face: A lot of the same, I’ll always be a kid. I like so many of the classics such as Miracle on 34th street, It’s a wonderful life, A Christmas story, The Grinch, Home Alone, The nightmare before Christmas, and I love Will Ferrell so Elf is a great one too!
Internet Hollywood: Do you have anything planned for the holiday yet?
Doll Face: This is going to be the first Christmas without my stepmom and I know it’s going to be hard, but I know that we are all strong and we will get through it together. I definitely want to go to Maine to see my family and be with my dad in this difficult time. My boyfriend and I kind of split up the holidays some holidays are spent with his family and children and some are spent with my family, and sometimes we do a “late Christmas.” Whatever we can do to bring everyone together, we’ll do. It works out well because I share my birthday with my biological mother. Our birthday is 12 days after Christmas so sometimes we do a birthday/Christmas dinner celebration thing.
Internet Hollywood: What are some of your favorite food and snacks to chow on around this time of year?
Doll Face: I love Christmas cookies! I am also a huge fan of truffles, brownies, anything chocolate, and PIE! This year I am going to make Homemade pecan turtles, and Chocolate dipped brownie covered cookie dough balls!
Internet Hollywood: Did you begin your shopping yet?
Doll Face: I have started doing a little bit of shopping. Mostly for my nephews and for my boyfriend’s daughters. The boys are 4 and 1 and the girls are 9 and 12, and shopping for them is so much fun!
Internet Hollywood: Dozens of photos have been released by models that did holiday collaborations with photographers. Will you be doing Christmas shoots as well?
Doll Face: I certainly hope so! Trying to put that into works as we speak I have never done a Christmas shoot and I would really like to do that this year!
Internet Hollywood: Last question; What is the coolest thing you ever got for Christmas?
Doll Face: The coolest gift I ever received was my karaoke machine when I was 16. Singing is one of my greatest passions and we have a lot of music lovers in my family. It was always a blast to have friends and family over to do karaoke and show off their talents.
Internet Hollywood: Thank you for the interview. Keep up the awesome work!
