Topic of the Week (Christmas) – Massachusetts stylist Yomo Perez was kind enough to give us the inside scoop on her plans for Christmas, her past holiday experiences, favorite Christmas movies, and more. I had the great pleasure in interviewing the model for our hot topic discussion of the month and I hope you enjoy reading the 5-question interview aswell. Merry Christmas!
~*~*Interview /w Yomo Perez*~*~
Internet Hollywood: What’s up Yomo?! I’m pleased to have you back in the Internet Hollywood universe. It’s been quite some time since we chatted. I look forward to doing the other interview with you as well. It’s going to be dope learning about what you have going on. Where will you be spending your Christmas this year and have you finished shopping?
Yomo: I am so happy to be able to be a part of this interview right before the year ends and right before my new year starts! Things have been hectic, but my first official year as a hairstylist has been going amazing! Even with all the holidays coming and me working full time, I managed to do all my shopping pretty early this year.
Internet Hollywood: How has your emotions and thoughts changed about Christmas since you grown out of your childhood days? Do you still get as excited about it when this time of the year comes?
Yomo: Well just like anyone else Christmas is just not the same once you become an adult it is really for the children but what I do appreciate is the memories they have the fact that I do have both my brothers and my mom still in my life and that I simply ever live to be able to share the holidays with who I can
Internet Hollywood: Here’s one of my favorite questions to ask; what are some of your favorite Xmas movies to watch, Xmas songs to listen to, and favorite foods to eat around this time of year?
Yomo: I absolutely love home alone I’m originally from New York so when I watch it it’s really fun to see all the streets and the huge department store is that I grew up around.
But in all honestly I’m a big 70s fan so the 70 Show Christmas is one of my favorites and I absolutely love Harold and Kumar.
Internet Hollywood: What is the most memorable Christmas you had and the best gift you ever received as a child or given as a young adult?
Yomo Perez: The most memorable Christmas I had was when I was turning 18 years and I got to spend it with my brothers my mother my Aunts Uncles and all my cousins my mom shut down the street we lived in the Dominican Republic and had this big festive party and she cooked all the use of amazing Foods until this day that is going to be something I will forever be grateful for
Internet Hollywood: When looking back at how everything played out this year would you say you’re happy with how things turned out our no?
Yomo Perez: I am very content with how my year has turned out I finished hair school I started working with some amazing photographers and models I definitely see Improvement in my work and honestly it has been a battle but I am going all-in for 2019 and I’m ready for whatever this new year has planned for me. I want a hundred percent to believe that you are able to control your happiness, not the things that happened to you but definitely how you handle it that’s just how I am. Thank you.
Internet Hollywood: Thank you so much for the interview, Yomo!
