Social Media / Video (Hip Hop/Rap/R&B) – T-Pain isn’t too pleased with his booking agents after receiving only half of a $35k payment for a performance he did at the Fashion Meets Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio on August 19, 2017. According to media sources, T-Pain was supposed to be paid $12,500 up front, another $12,500 the next month, and then $25,000 a month before the gig.
T-Pain claims he only received $15k for the performance and the rest bounced in a check but UTA never informed him. He is suing the agency for breach of contract. According to some media sources, UTA took about 10% commission off the top, leaving a $35,000 balance. T-Pain claims he thought he was paid before he hit the stage only to find out later he wasn’t.
