Crowds Line Up To Hug Police Officers In Dallas After Prayer Service

People are lining up to hug police after the recent sniper ambush shooting which left five police officers dead and 12 injured at the end of a peaceful protest in Dallas on Thursday night.Thursday night.
Seven officers and two civilians were also injured in the shootings. All are expected to recover. Police Chief David Brown received a long and loud round of applause Friday before he spoke at a midday citywide prayer service in Dallas. Police work is a job where you seldom hear the words “Thank you,” he said.Hundreds of residents who packed Thanks-Giving Square Park in downtown Dallas replied with a resounding “Thank you.”
