A new poll shows a majority of US citizens are losing faith in the federal government.
According to a survey conducted by Fox News, six in ten voters said they don’t trust the US government, down from 62 percent in June 2013. About 78 percent of the respondents called the Obama administration’s handling of the attacks on the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi a serious matter. A majority of them also expressed concerns about the government’s surveillance programs. About a third of voters said the Obama administration has been less open and transparent than its predecessors on the economy, privacy and security.
