EU Extends Sanctions Against Russia Over Ukraine


A recent decision by national leaders extended EU sanctions against Russia last week. According to CCTV News, The measures include limiting access to the bloc’s primary and secondary capital markets and a trade embargo on arms. The sanctions was first imposed on July 2014 after Russia annexed the Crimean peninsula. The extended sanctions will continue until July 31, 2017.
