Jenny Mostly discusses modeling, going to group shoots, wanting to travel, photo shoots, and more!

Beyond The Lens – It has been very busy behind the scenes over here at Internet Hollywood and if you haven’t noticed there has been many new faces that made the front page on our website after doing an interview with me around the middle to late last month and the number of publications continues to grow as more interviews are being done.

Another person who I got in touch with was a beautiful independent model from the state of Massachusetts name Jenny Mostly. Jenny was one out of the handful of people I got in contact with last month to do an interview for the website. After she accepted the invitation I sent her a couple of questions to answers and she kindly opened up and filled me in on everything I wanted to know. Enjoy the interview!

Internet Hollywood: What’s up Jenny?! Welcome to the Internet Hollywood universe! It’s always a cool and educational experience to learn from new faces and share their stories for all of our readers to check out. Since your a new person I’m interviewing I definitely need to give our readers the scoop on your background story. Could you give us a brief history on who you are, where you from, and what you do?

Jenny: Thank you! Happy to be interviewed and share some of my story. I’m a life long New England girl and I love the change of seasons. Really can’t picture myself anywhere else, except maybe if the opportunity for travel should arise. As for what I’m usually up to, I’m hard at work. I use lucid dreaming as a way to derive concepts for possible shoots so I like to spend some time organizing these ideas.

Internet Hollywood: As the world of social media grows so does the appeal to modeling and new faces have been sprouting all over the internet. But the reality is independent modeling is challenging and requires a lot of physical work from the person doing it. How did your journey as an independent model start and what influenced you to want to pursue it as a career?

_

Jenny: To be honest, I have no idea. I just began going to group shoots and started with my love for pinup and vintage modelling. I had modelled as a teen, but it didn’t resonate with me as much as it did when I was older. I feel privileged to have the opportunity.

Internet Hollywood: Are there other things besides modeling that you plan on bringing to light sometime in the distant future?

_

Jenny: I’d like to possibly travel sometime in the future and see as many places as I possibly can, and enjoy time with family, as I never get enough.

Internet Hollywood: What are some of the projects that you’re currently working on or hoping to get started on sometime this year?

_

Jenny: I have no real solid projects that come to mind, only colorful and sometimes dark stories I’d like to bring to life in photos. This coming year I’d like to work with new talents of all sorts and see where a collaboration of vivid ideas could g

Internet Hollywood: What has been your main focus since the beginning of this year started and are there a set of goals you have waiting to be conquered?

_

Jenny: My main focus has been to try and do a few things outside of people’s usual expectations. I don’t want to be pigeon-holed in any respect, so I’d like to bring surprises to the table this coming year and henceforth.

_

Internet Hollywood: Last but not least, what kind of people are you looking to connect with this year to help expand yourself as a model and do you have any fears of what challenges may come in the future as you try to reach that wanted stage in your life?

_

Jenny: I’m hoping to connect with artists of all sorts that wish to bring something new to the table. I love to be challenged and see the result of a group of brilliant minds coming together. I’d like to get out in nature as much as possible and incorporate it into my work. The only challenge I feel is age. There is often a stigma about models over 40, and I have no idea why. I feel more beautiful now than I did in my 20s. I think confidence plays a tremendous role in success and it only develps stronger as you age. At any rate, I intend to keep doing what I love.

Internet Hollywood: Thank you for the interview, Jenny!
