Prince Vega – One of Connecticut’s most known public figures in the music scene Lovey XL has returned with a brand new radio show on Lovey XL The mayor will taking be over the weekends on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. every week! Lovey will also be showing his much needed support to the underground music scene by playing music from Connecticut for an hour every week on his new show with co host KiKi.
Lovey has been a influential figure to the entire music scene in Connecticut for years. He has supported, defended and organized dozens of events in the community for artists of all colors. As a matter of fact, one of Prince Vega’s first shows was at Lovey’s event in the downtown Hartford area. Lovey has shown Prince Vega an endless amount of support for years and even stood side by side with him to stand up for Connecticut artists back in 2011.
Lovey has helped organized rallies for lives that matters like Trayvon Martin and became the voice for thousands locked up inside of incarceration centers in Connecticut who would wait up at night to hear him and Miss E show their support on the radio.
Lovey has solidified his reputation as a legend in Connecticut and nobody can change his contribution in giving artists a place to be heard and a platform for them to showcase their skills in open mic contests with cash giveaways. It was at one of his events where Prince Vega performed for the very first time and caught the attention of all Connecticut artists from a musical stand point.
