Interviews / Models – Independent Massachusetts model Amber Elizabeth had some pretty interesting things to share in our very first interview for the website. After accepting the invitation I sent to her to do the interview, I quickly wrote up a couple of questions to a get a better understanding of who she is as a person and what is it that she do for a living. Amber has been connected to one of my social media pages for sometime and I felt the timing couldn’t of been any better I hope you enjoy reading the interview!

Internet Hollywood: Welcome to the Internet Hollywood universe Amber! I appreciate you taking the time to chat with me for the very first time. After learning about what you do I definitely felt the need to move forward with the interview a lot faster. When did modeling become something you became passionate about enough to want to take on it as a career and what kind of photography did you feel the most comfortable doing?

Amber: Modeling became something that I wanted to pursue as a career more so recently. I really enjoy being in front of the camera and getting to show my personality in all the photos I create with others. Photography is much different. I have always known I wanted to be a photographer. I am most comfortable shooting live music believe it or not. I’ve had the most experience in that field although I am definitely enjoying portraiture at the moment.

Internet Hollywood: When did you start getting into modeling and what kind of vision did you imagine yourself in when thoughts of the future come up and that’s the field your expanding in?

Amber: I started getting into modeling when I was 17. I had always been told to model because of my height and never was comfortable enough in my own skin to try it. Finally I took a modeling course with some fashion models and from there, I had much more confidence in what I was doing and just went for it. I hope to see myself continue modeling despite all of the setbacks that I have to deal with and I hope to at least make a name for myself in the alternative modeling scene.

Internet Hollywood: What kind of collaborations would your like to do as a model and a photographer?

Amber: I want to collaborate with everyone. Each model and photographer is different. We all have our own stories and looks. I want to create art with as many fellow artists as possible and diversify my portfolios with a rainbow of different views.

Internet Hollywood: Many photographers tend to find other things besides photography to fill they hunger. I notice some try calendars and films now. Is filming something you see yourself getting involved in in the future?

Amber: I do not know If i will get into filming, as I have always loved stills. Still photography is what gives me life. I’d love to be involved in some creative filming but I do not see myself getting into shooting it unless I was working with someone else on a project.

Internet Hollywood: What kind of people are you hoping to build connections with this year and do you currently charge rates for your services?

Amber: I’m hoping to meet some of the New England based models this year. I’ve had plenty of luck finding photographers but models are a tricky bunch I’ve found. I’m looking to expand my portrait portfolio with fresh faces and new ideas. I do currently charge but not much, as I am not well known or in an area where photographers are seldom found. I have found people don’t really want to pay for professional photos anymore now that Iphones and Androids can take decent photos.

Internet Hollywood: What are some of the things that you are currently working on now that you would like the public to look out for in the future?

Amber: As a model, I recently shot with Chris Zupp of ZuppShots to add to his puzzle series. The photos from that will be released relatively soon. As a photographer, I am currently casting for two separate series I’m working on. One being, Fantasy Creatures and the other, One with the Forest. The first set released in Fantasy Creatures was featured in Sanctuary Magazine Volume 40.

Internet Hollywood: Thank you for the interview, Amber!
