Model Hollie B talks limiting modeling, coaching CrossFit, her first photo shoot, focusing on her health, loving fitness and more!

Beyond The Lens – Independent Massachusetts model Hollie B- isn’t really putting much time into modeling and she explained the reasons why in a recent interview we did. I had got in touch with the model over messenger and asked if she would like to do an eight-question interview with me and she was down for it. I had Hollie on my list for years and I haven’t spoken to her in a long while. It was good we both had a little time to catch up with each other. I hope you enjoy reading the interview!

Internet Hollywood: What’s up Hollie!? Long time no speak! I hope you been having an amazing 2018 so far. It’s been a long time since we talked and I’m really excited we could finally catch up on things. Many readers aren’t aware we been connected through Facebook for years and I do believe it was before Internet Hollywood was even created. So this is a pretty deep interview for me. How have you been? Are you still modeling?

Hollie: I’ve been pretty good how about yourself? I work a lot. I now coach CrossFit on top of my 45-50 hour workweek. Modeling is very limited. Usually only shoot with one photographer as often as we both can. It’s just hard to get behind the camera with so much going on.

Internet Hollywood: When you got into modeling what was the first step you took to get started and how hard was it for you to find photographers to shoot you?

Hollie: I started with a friend. She asked if I wanted to go to a shoot with her themed “Charlies Angels” and I said sure! Then I went to a few group shoots and it started from there. I wouldn’t say it was super hard to find a Photog to shoot with me, rather me wanting to shoot with people I didn’t know.

Internet Hollywood: What style of shooting have you grown to love over the years and is there any theme that you would like to do more often with photographers?

Hollie: I love fitness. Anything fitness I’m in. Unless your Oscar Plunkett, I shoot anything and everything with him. We’ve been shooting for years and I’ve become comfortable with him.

Internet Hollywood: Are you currently working on doing some projects in the spring?

Hollie: I’ve been chatting with Oscar for some shoot plans but that’s just about it.

Photographer: Oscar Plunkett

Internet Hollywood: What is your main goal and focus this year?

Hollie: My main goal is to focus and just better myself. Modeling isn’t a huge priority in my life right now. I’m working on my health and mindset more than anything.

Internet Hollywood: What has been the most challenging thing in your journey as an independent model?

Holle: When I was modeling all the time it was honestly finding time. I love a hectic life and finding time to do anything extra was super hard.

Internet Hollywood:  That’s understandable. Did you have a dream shoot?

Hollie: I don’t have a dream shoot. Everything I wanted to shoot I’ve been able to shoot.

Internet Hollywood: Last question; when you reach a point where you feel like giving up what are some of the things that keep you going and is there a time limit on when you want to conquer your ultimate goal before giving up?

Hollie: I don’t give up. I keep fighting for what I want to accomplish. I push to achieve my goals with hard work. There’s no such thing as giving up.

Internet Hollywood: Thank you for the interview, Hollie!
