Model Stacy Mae reveals her favorite childhood films: “As a kid, I loved Nightmare on Elm Street, Paper House, I Know What You Did Last Summer…”

Topic of the Week – Independent MA model Stacy Mae was kind enough to participate in our topic of the month that’s learning of peoples past favorites when it comes to movies and television series. We spoke with many people and sent over our hot topic questions and got the inside scoop in all of their responses. Check out Stacy Mae answers below!

Her favorite films and television series to watch:

Stacy: I’ve always had a thing for horror, especially psychological horror. As a kid I loved Nightmare on Elm Street, Paper House, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream, things of that nature. As for shows, I was and continue to be in love with old school Nickelodeon. Are You Afraid of The Dark, Ren & Stimpy, and Ahhh Real Monsters are definitely some of my favorites.

The ones her and her friends would act out:

Stacy: As a kid I wasn’t really into emulating actors/actresses. I wanted to be a singer when I was growing up. My cousins and I would make dance routines and take turns singing. We had a really fun routine we put together to “I saw the sign” from Ace of Base. My father also has a VHS of me somewhere singing and dancing to Tom Petty.

Movies that gave her nightmares:

Stacy: One movie comes to mind, Cube 2 Hypercube. I was about 13 or 14 when I saw it. There’s just something about it I can’t quite explain, but damn did it freak me out. I had tried to sleep afterwards and I just couldn’t. It was like every time I closed my eyes I just saw 2 bodies burnt to a crisp while having sex mid air.

If she was a villain or superhero what would her name and powers be?

Stacy: I honestly couldn’t choose between hero or villain. I consider myself chaotic neutral. I would be that in-between person. Like, Hey I put out this burning building, but there’s a possibility I started the fire to begin with. As for a name, I have no idea. Powers on the other hand, I would want to Phoenix’s from X-Men.
