MUA Amber Weinberg talks about childhood films:”My first scary movie I ever watched though was Jeepers Creepers…”

Topic of the Week – Connecticut makeup artist Amber Weinberg has chosen to weigh in on our hot topic of the month by revealing some of her favorite childhood movies and films. She also filled us in on feelings about horror movies and the first one she ever watched. Check out all of her answers below!

Her favorite films and television series to watch:

Amber: Ahhh this is a really tough question. I feel like when I was a kid tv was so much better. Anything Disney was definitely on all the time. But then occasionally I’d switch it up and I really loved watching Friends & That’s 70s Show.

The ones her and her friends would act out:

Amber: This ones so easy and kind of embarrassing, but my friends and I definitely use to impersonate the Spice Girls. Out on the playground we all had our own specific Spice Girl that we would act like. I was always Sporty Spice or Posh, which completely makes sense for me.

Movies that gave her nightmares:

Amber: Ugh, I hate scary movies. Literally anything will scare me. But I’d have to say, The Fourth Kind was the last scary movie I watched. Anything with aliens or ghosts will send me right over the edge haha. Not a fan. My first scary movie I ever watched though was Jeepers Creepers, I can handle that kind of stuff.

If she was a villain or superhero what would her name and powers be?

Amber: I would 100% be the superhero. I can’t even help it, I’m an empath. I am always trying to help someone in every possible situation, it’s just who I am. So if I were to have a super power of some sort I would definitely want to be able to duplicate myself so I can be a bunch of different places at once.
