Internet Hollywood founder Prince Vega is expressing how he feels about the state of things when it comes to building a buzz online independently. He continues to stretch the importance of doing things digitally since it’s so easy to interact with millions of people all over the world. For example, he even built Internet Hollywood to help underground talented individuals get exposure for what they love doing. The music artist has been receiving a lot of coverage from our universe as of late and is now taking the time to speak out for independent artists.
“The beauty of independence comes with the hardest work you could ever imagine” he said. “It is seriously the hardest because you are doing everything by yourself. I feel independent artists deserves so much credit for all the hard work they put into creating a buzz. It’s a lot of lonely and dark nights that comes with wanting something so bad that you isolate yourself from the world to focus on it. What hurts the most is when you doubt yourself even while you force yourself to keep pushing. It even makes me sad to think about how hard we try. I’m blessed to be in the position that I’m in. I didn’t think it was possible.”
Prince Vega admits that success is a gift and a curse. He shares that it’s very time consuming and artists have to prepare to lose some of their closest relationships with friends and possibly their lover.
“Not everyone is going to understand your vision,” he said. “That’s one of the biggest reasons things aren’t going to work out in a lot of your personal relationships. If you do accomplish what your after then you can choose to revive those relationships or move on. I honestly feel moving on would be best. Who wants someone around that wasn’t there when you were down? It’s a sad and lonely place. It’s all worth it in the end. You all just got to be careful. I’ve loss what I thought meant everything to me and it hurts me now. If you truly believe in your vision go after it. Everything else is nothing but an excuse.”
Prince Vega is preparing to release his first digital album with Joey Claris on January 1st!
