Shout Outs – Massachusetts fashion designer Samantha Gottlich took the time out to show love to a couple of people who supported her along the way with her brand NROR ART. She sent in this shout out after completing her interview with me for the website last month. Here’s what she said:
“I want to shout out 6 women in particular who’ve modeled my journey with NROR ART. These women are extremely intelligent and incredible in art and have molded my journey.
Walk of Shame Art Gallery
You are the reason I ever had confidence in my art. I am forever grateful for the Walk of Shame Gallery. You were the first person to showcase my work, share my work, get me into businesses and art shows. You believed in me when I wasn’t so sure I believed in myself. I picked up a paintbrush 2 months before I got to Florida and started this journey. That was a year ago. I owe it to you.
Thank you so much for being the first person in the Boston art industry to accept me as an artist and a creative. You didn’t care that I was a newbie with no formal training or experience. You saw my creativity and work and gave me courage and strength. You brought my art into your pop up store and your photo shoots. You let my accessorizes into your art life and brought me closer to the artist I am now. You showed me that you supported my art and wanted to push my name out there; and I’m forever grateful.
Thank you for helping me transition from model to artist. I was apart of your events as a model, and the moment I mentioned my art; you were on board. You had me sell my art and live paint two huge events and had me show my clothing designs down the runway. Your nonstop commitment to bringing NROR ART to Privé is never forgotten.

Thank you so much for everything. For styling me as a model. For having my accessories in your shoots. Thank you so much for bringing me as a individual and me as NROR ART on to your art and fashion projects while accomplishing your dreams. I’m so glad to be your friend and to empower one another. You’ve supported me from the start and I can’t ever repay you for being there for me.

We’ve never met, I don’t know if we ever will, but I am so grateful for you. Thank you for encompassing my vision of NROR ART in the logo you’ve made. Thank you for helping with GOTT Marketing. Thank you for bringing NROR ART to the next part of its life. You’ve brought a whole new level of professionalism and legitimacy to my hobby gone passion gone business. I appreciate you so much.
Mom, thank you for everything. Thank you for letting me go to plaster play as a child and make ugly, blobby, messy painted plates and shitty piggy banks. Thank you for supporting me when I said I was going to start painting and thank you for your genuine reactions.
