Sydney Celeste Discuss Being A Musician, Instagram Models Discrediting Real Models, Music & More!

Interviews – As Internet Hollywood continues to expand more beautiful people from all walks of life are finding their way into our universe! They strongly believe Internet Hollywood is the perfect platform to get notoriety for their talent and the right connections to expand beyond where they are now. One of those beautiful sensations was a model from the state North Carolina name Sydney Celeste.

Celeste has been on Internet Hollywood’s radar for quite sometime now. She has received quite a few invitations to be apart of Internet Hollywood after capturing our attention with her active involvement in modeling as an independent. All it takes is for us to notice someones potential then we will gladly send an invitation that way.

I felt the need to get in touch with Celeste to schedule a small interview for Internet Hollywood. After a few attempts we were able to successfully complete it in a two-day period. You could reason our entire interview below.

Internet Hollywood: Hey Sydney! Before we begin, I would like to welcome you to our beautiful Internet Hollywood universe! Seeing beautiful new sensations come in our universe is always exciting. How is everything? Are you ready for the weekend?

—-

Celeste: Hi! Thank you for the welcome. I’m honored to be apart! Everything is fantastic! I’m so blessed. I am ready for the weekend definitely.

———-

Internet Hollywood: We was playing tag for a few days to get this done. lol. I’m glad we finally got a chance to finish it. So tell the Internet Hollywood universe a little bit about yourself. How did you start off with modeling?

——

Celeste: Yes we did! Lol. But we are here now so here we go! I started modeling in 1997 professionally working for several clothing stores as a child runway, commercial, and print model.

——

Internet Hollywood: So you have a lot of experience. How would you say things changed in the modeling industry? Do you feel that it is easier or harder for an independent model to get to where she needs to be?

——-

Celeste: Well so many things in the world and in the industry have changed since the 90s so I would say it’s harder today in my opinion because to many performers lean on only social media but there is so much more you have to do. The things I learned in childhood about getting in front of people and being always on point gave me knowledge and experience that I feel maybe you don’t get as much anymore since today it is more about the Internet. Now the Internet is a good thing obviously, since you can use it in your favor but it shouldn’t be a crutch.

——-

Internet Hollywood: Do you think being an Instagram model kinda discredits the real models that are out now?

—–

Celeste: Definitely! It can hurt real models. But I also feel like each performer has their own destiny and what others do can not affect you if you don’t allow it. So Instagram models do hinder real models because you’re doing what you need to to separate yourself from the others.

——
Internet Hollywood: What would you say is your most beneficial outlet in terms of getting yourself out there? What has worked for you the most?
———

Celeste: Currently I find using the Internet to network is a good tool. Also going to events and networking. Finding your own work and not waiting on others to find it for you. That never fails.

————

Internet Hollywood: Has anyone in your personal life tried to stop you from modeling? I’m aware a lot families look down on models in the industry.

——

Celeste: Yes my father’s girlfriend after my mother died did everything she could to try to hinder me. She did not succeed. Amen. Lol. ????

Internet Hollywood: Lol. If they did succeeded what do you think you would be doing right now instead of modeling?

———

Celeste: Modeling is not my main focus at this point currently anyway . Currently I’m working as an intern with Fleet Djs, recording my own music, preparing for shows, and writing a poetry book. I would be doing exactly what I’m doing now. What I want to.

——
Internet Hollywood: What is it about music that makes you feel that its just as important as modeling?
———-
Celeste: Music is my favorite thing in the world. When I was younger I had a deal with a Christian label but I did not want to be put in a box, so I decided to be an independent artist. Music is like blood to me, it runs through every part of my being and lights my inner self on fire. There is nothing like that feeling. Modeling mixes with it because you need to be confident and have your image to help you.
———-
Internet Hollywood: I could tell your a writer by how you said that. Is it frustrating at all that both hobbies are different and may require you to spend more time on each of them separately? I know both hobbies could be very time consuming.
———–
Celeste:  I don’t look at them as hobbies because they have always been very dedicated and made a career with it earlier in life. Now I’m just building on what I sacrificed, so many things to make my current reality.
————–
Internet Hollywood: Your friend Blair Kenion was recently published on Internet Hollywood as well. What amazes me about you is that you are not bothered by it. Not many people are comfortable with their friends sharing the same beneficial resources they have like certain photographers, makeup artists, etc. Why do you feel so many models feel the need to keep upcoming models blinded when it comes to finding the right connections?
——
Celeste: Because a lot of models are threatened or afraid of other potential. I’m the type that can recognize talent and try to give it a outlet. I like to help where I can because no one really helped me other than my mother (RIP) when I was younger. Truly when people help each other it ultimately benefits Everyone. Just too many people only see themselves.
Internet Hollywood: If you had to choose between modeling or music which one will you choose?
—-
Celeste: Music.
—-
Internet Hollywood: Is there anything you’d like to share with our readers before we end this interview?
Celeste: That I’m grateful for everything. I’m blessed I’m humbled I’m forever in this and I’m always going to give my career all I’ve got. Thank you to Justin Hamlett of Internet Hollywood for taking the time to interview me
==
Internet Hollywood: You’re so welcome. Thank you for the amazing interview beautiful.
Celeste: Thank you as well.
